Installation

Environment Preparations
The following items must be completed prior to the deployment of any configuration items for EJBCA

Rack Appliances in designated locations

Connect (2) network cables per appliance - Must be connected prior to powering on device

Connect (2) power cables per appliance

Provision Networks (VLANs) for Management and Application Services

Provision Network Switch ports for Management and Application interfaces. Access ports only (No LACP, Tagged ports)

Allocate (2) IP addresses per appliance

One Management interface IP

One Application interface IP

Provide physical access to all appliances (Required in-person access for initialization)

Ensure required PIN Pads and SmartCards are available and ready

Initialize any previously configured appliances

Provision External HDD for Appliance backups
